Fertility Support Are you preparing to get pregnant and wanting to optimize your fertility before you begin trying to conceive? Perhaps you are transitioning off of hormonal birth control or hormone therapy and ready to assess and re-balance your system in preparation for pregnancy. Are you planning a non-conventional conception using a sperm donor, and wanting to maximize chances of conception? Have you already been trying to conceive and find yourself having some challenges? Maybe you have experienced pregnancy loss and need support to heal and replenish as you continue on your journey. I am here for you.
Cycle Health Cycle Health is not limited to fertility only. The menstrual cycle is considered a fifth vital sign, important as an indicator of overall health and wellbeing, from the earliest cycles after menarch, to the last cycles before menopause. Cycle Health sessions include hormonal health education, learning to chart and interpret the changes during your cycle, and working to address issues such as irregular cycles, painful menstruation, hormonal imbalances, and the perimenopausal transition.
Providing fertility & cycle health support is one of my passions. I have collected tools for this work from my own personal experience, as well as my years of training and practice.
As a Certified Fertility Awareness Educator* I can teach you to chart your cycles and help you identify areas that might need additional tuning up, whether your goal is increased fertility or cycle health support. Fertility Awareness is more than ovulation tracking; it is a combination of learning to understand the patterns in your cycle, plus the support to create more robust fertility & cycle health. We can meet in person or via video call for a series of Fertility Awareness/Cycle Health sessions to learn charting, assess your cycles, collaborate on enhancing fertility/cycle health, and pinpoint timing for conception, if that is your goal.
Bodywork for Fertility & Cycle Health Bodywork is a wonderful additional support for nurturing fertility & cycle health. From The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy®, which combines bodywork and other complementary tools to address reproductive and pelvic health, to the deep tissue techniques of pelvic rehabilitation, there are many types of bodywork that can be supportive of fertility in terms of working with pelvic alignment, the nervous system, hormonal health, healing trauma and overall embodiment.
If you are a local client, I can integrate supportive bodywork into our sessions together. If you are a long distance client I may be able to refer you to a practitioner in your area. I am always happy to offer complimentary 15-20 minute sessions to help determine if we are a good fit prior to setting up your initial session. Contact me for more information or to book at complimentary meet & greet session.
* As a Certified Fertility Awareness Educator, I am committed to the principles of reproductive justice, body positivity, and inclusivity across the spectrum of sexual orientation and gender identity.
